Haunted Houses Near Palm Beach Gardens

As the summer months wane and September comes to a close, witches take to the skies and ghosts whisper at night. Yes, it’s finally October, the spookiest time of the year! And what better way to celebrate than to catch a good fright. There are plenty of scary attractions around Palm Beach Gardens, so check out our favorite haunted houses and Halloween fun- if you dare!

Fright Nights

For the quintessential haunted house experience, look no further than Fright Nights. Featuring live actors, special effects, and monsters galore, there’s something new to enjoy with each visit. Fright Nights changes its attractions every year to bring scare-goers new experiences, from haunted prisons to insane asylums. Fright Nights also features four different haunts, so you can come back multiple times per season. With video games, street performers, a state of the art virtual reality experience and more, the only question is, when are you visiting?

Enigma Haunt

Featured on USA Today’s top 20 haunts in the country, Enigma Haunt’s two story location holds more frights than you’d think possible. With three unique haunted attractions, Enigma Haunt will have you crawling back for more. Realms of Terror, Twisted Mayhem, and Cursed are all full of scary special effects and terrifying actors that bring the events to life. Few can get through one – Can you handle all three?

Escape-topia

While Escape-topia may not be the classic haunted house experience, don’t write it off yet. It may be the scariest one on the list. Escape-topia features three distinct escape rooms with a twist- they’re all horror themed. And nothing is scarier than a clock ticking down to your doom. In Escape the Beast, you’re locked in a decrepit hotel room, with a monster lurking close by. Carnival Macabre features an evil clown, and you’re locked in his dressing room. Finally, Enter the Nether puts you in the shoes of townspeople searching for a missing young boy, but all isn’t what it seems to be. Great for groups, or come alone for a particularly spooky time.

X-Scream Halloween

X-Scream is a unique entry on this list, as it is run by the high school students of G-Star School of the Arts. But don’t let that fool you, X-Scream has been producing a top of the line haunted house for the last 15 years, and this year is going to be its biggest yet. As the third largest haunted house in Florida, behind Busch Gardens and Universal, X-Scream’s 15 year anniversary is going to be quite the show. From Murder Mysteries to flash mob performances, every event at X-Scream Halloween is a must see.

Paranoia Horror Maze Miami

Paranoia Horror Maze is not for the faint of heart. A dark and mysterious maze, every step is scarier than the last. Since it opened in 2017, over 3,100 people have called it quits without finishing. A running count above the maze keeps track of the people who have chickened out over the years, and it’s the first thing you see when visiting the website. Featuring a huge footprint and trained actors to make the whole experience more intense, we really suggest bringing a friend for… backup.

Pumpkin Towne

After all the haunted houses, you may want something a little less scary. So check out Pumpkin Towne! It’s fun for the whole family and won’t make you afraid to go out after dark. Featuring a merry-go-round, regular and mini pumpkins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin carving, and so much more, it’s a great way to enjoy Halloween without jumping out of your skin.
